Sadie Williams Autumn Winter 2018 celebrates an eclectic mix of 60’s silhouettes coupled with graphic panel arrangements and with a nod towards 70’s glitz. Featuring her favourite colour palette of multi-toned blues, reds and silvers that bring depth to the clean A-line shapes.
Sadie further develops her textile journey this season by partnering up with friend and fellow former CSM MA alumni, Helen Lawrence to create her distinctive knitwear, whilst working on woven textiles for the first time, playing with hues and scale of folky/graphic logo-prints. Her signature crafted touch is embodied in frayed edges, applique patches and multi-layered textiles.
She continues to showcase her tomboyish youthful girls, whilst introducing a more elegant and elevated woman, suited, shimmering and statuesque. Through her collaboration with hair-stylist Syd Hayes, Sadie Williams AW18 features metallic colourfully printed leather hair-bands pony-cuffs, whilst topping some looks off with characterful, fun-yet-ladylike hats and girlish lurex crowns.
